To promote student-industry interaction and inculcate research, re-engineering and development aptitude among the students, a research and development center has been set up at the Institute. Various aspects of Environmental Engineering, Manufacturing and Study of Glasses and Artificial Intelligence are looked into and offered for Doctoral Research. Technical seminars and workshops are organized to promote innovative research culture. Collaboration with Industry and Organizations such as BARC  Mumbai; NRC New Delhi; CAT  Indore; DRDO Jodhpur  & GNDU Amritsar are established in order to widen the horizon of the student's outlook.

Research Papers are contributed to various seminar symposia and journals of international and national repute and experts are invited to the center from various fields in order to expose the students to current Research & Development. Innovative Projects emphasis on the quality of products is laid in order to compete favorably in the world markets and enhance the image of the country.
